Meet Jessica

Jessica attended the University of Texas and received a Master's in Professional Accounting (MPA). She worked as an accountant for a Big 4 public accounting firm for two years after graduating. Jessica then went on to work for a large utility company for over three years performing accounting research, financial planning, and budgeting for various departments.
Eventually, it became clear that this wasn’t the best place for her since she started experiencing some health issues as a result of stress.
In an attempt to heal her body and mind, Jessica began exploring and studying nutrition, fitness, and wellness. She became a Certified Health Coach and was so energized by this work that she left corporate accounting to launch her own health coaching practice. Through her work offering corporate wellness programs and working with 1:1 coaching clients she began to field tax, accounting, and business consulting questions from other entrepreneurs once they learned about her background in accounting. Jessica soon realized that she could support small business owners by combining her diverse experience and background.

Beam Financial Group was born

Today Jessica leads a team of finance professionals in supporting small business owners, helping them to become more competent, connected, and aligned with their business finances.

Jessica is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an Advanced QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and a Gusto Partner.

Founded in 2014, Beam Financial Group has served over 150 clients across a broad range of industries. We specialize in QuickBooks Online which allows for cloud-based accounting, enabling our versatile team to be 100% virtual. Our staff consists of highly trained accountants with oversight by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who is engaged at every step of the process.

Our boutique consulting firm is an all-women company (not something you see every day in the financial space) who take a deeply personal approach to supporting our clients. We customize our approach to your business according to what you do and what you need.
